Featured Commission Projects
Collaborating with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to small businesses, is a central part of the creative process. Each commission is a unique opportunity to help someone bring their ideas to life. Whether it's transforming a cherished memory into a digital painting or developing a brand's visual identity, the goal is always to translate an initial concept into a piece of art that perfectly captures the client's vision and personality.
Soul Food branding De’Borahs Fresh
The client De'Borah' Fresh requested a graphic for their Baltimore restaurant. The client was looking to bring to life their graphic sketch, serving, and already had an idea that they were committed to. My job as their graphic designer was to bring their sketch to life in Illustrator and provide them with a graphic that could be used for merchandise.
Album Cover “Toxic”
The client requested an involved design of the album cover for a single, "Toxic." The core objective, as requested by the client, was to create an image that was profoundly symbolic and visually captured the chaos and toxicity inherent in destructive love and relationships.
Album Cover ‘Wake Up (Reprise)’
This project involved creating album artwork designed to evoke a holy and celebratory atmosphere. The composition is centered around symbolic elements, including a church, a choir, and a featured saxophone player, instantly establishing a feeling of uplifting, spiritual music.
Portrait ‘Julius’
This project involved creating a highly detailed portrait illustration for a client who requested a likeness of her son from his childhood. The artwork was executed with a strong, foundational emphasis on realism and authentic expression, aiming to capture the subject's personality.
Pet portrait ‘Moe’ the orange tabby
The client requested a highly detailed digital portrait of his beloved orange cat, 'Moe,' posed specifically next to one of his favorite potted flower plants. This commission delivered on that request by using multiple layers to achieve exceptional realism and depth in the artwork.
Skateology shirt design
This commission involved creating an original shirt design specifically for a local skateboarding brand located in Bel Air, Maryland. The primary goal was to ensure the designs immediately aligned with the shop's edgy aesthetic while powerfully resonating with their core customer base.
