Print Design
These prints are defined by a striking vibrancy that instantly captures the viewer’s attention. Bold colors, sharp contrasts, and carefully balanced compositions work together to create an immediate visual impact. Each element is intentionally placed to guide the eye across the design, ensuring that the main message stands out with clarity and force.
Magazine Cover Design
This project is a high-impact magazine cover developed using a combined digital workflow. The central visual element establishes a custom graphic aesthetic and distinctive color palette. This custom illustration was then integrated into the final layout, where the masthead, cover lines, and typographic hierarchy were strategically designed. This piece demonstrates my dual ability to handle both the artistic execution of a custom cover illustration and the technical demands of professional layout design for maximum shelf appeal.
"Tropical Flavors" Branding Design
This vibrant concept for a cold fruit juice line was created to capture an immediate summer vibe, demonstrating a flexible mixed media approach. The final design seamlessly integrates hand-drawn and traditionally colored elements for organic texture and depth, with clean vector graphics used for typography and structural elements. This energetic piece highlights my ability to merge traditional artistry with digital precision, utilizing a bright, saturated color palette to create an engaging, market-ready design that communicates fresh, fruity flavor.
"Meat Pie Recipe" Card
This project is an elegantly designed recipe card created to showcase the "Meat Pie" concept using a detailed, bespoke aesthetic. I achieved this look by first crafting all key visual elements, including the calligraphy text and the accompanying meat pie illustration, by hand. These elements were then meticulously scanned and processed before the final layout was structured and composed in Adobe Photoshop. The result is a refined piece that combines the personal touch of traditional media with modern digital design, yielding an overall aesthetic that is both elegant and timeless.
Relief Prints: Inspired by Nigerian Culture
This collection features four black ink prints created through the relief printmaking method (carving and printing). Inspired deeply by my Nigerian culture, each piece translates specific motifs, patterns, and visual narratives into a bold, high-contrast medium. The physical process of hand-carving the blocks and applying the black ink by handemphasizes the texture, line quality, and graphic strength inherent in the technique. This series showcases my ability to merge traditional printmaking skills with strong cultural concepts to create impactful, visually arresting artwork.
